This module entails the completion of a programme of personal study and research on a selected landscape topic. Working under the guidance of a tutor, students develop their thesis over the third (summer) trimester submitting a written and graphical document that demonstrates advanced theoretical and conceptual knowledge of a current relevant issue

Learning Outcomes:

The thesis allows the student to demonstrate the following outcomes:
1. The ability to initiate, design and implement a minor research project.
2. An in-depth understanding of current debates within the field of landscape architecture
3. The ability to relate and apply advanced concepts and theoretical knowledge to a site
