ARCT40260 Urban Design Thesis

Academic Year 2023/2024

A core objective of the urban design masters programme is to develop a body of research in urban design in Ireland, the culmination of which is the thesis. The research component of the programme provides a valuable resource for education and knowledge in urban design, nationally and internationally. Pre-thesis work will begin at an early stage, and projects and practical work can be focused accordingly.
Students attend a number of Thesis Plenary sessions, (including individual meetings with their Supervisor) and there are mandatory Postgraduate Studio, Urban Design Studio, Workshops and Design Masterclasses at intervals for both classes.
