Following successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of human body systems, how they operate and how they interact
2. Describe how changes occur in human body systems with disease
3. Describe biomedical engineering approaches in the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of major disorders
4. Design and implement an interactive engineering solution to demonstrate an aspect of anatomical form and/or function in the healthy or diseased state

- Pathology and mechanisms of disease
- Nervous system anatomy and physiology
- Musculoskeletal system anatomy and physiology

- Urinary system fundamentals
- Endocrine system fundamentals
- Gastrointestinal system fundamentals
- Lymphatics and immunity
- Reproductive systems
- Special senses: eye and ear
- Applications of imaging, prosthetics and medical devices
