ACM40850 Underg Case Study Climate Sci

Academic Year 2020/2021

Guest lecturers are invited each week to talk about their research/business in an informal way. This will help broaden up the view about climate change science and wide persoectives of impact on our society. Students are required to give a short presentation on any news news or research they spot on each week and share their thoughts on the invited speaker's lectures. Students are required to attend at least 3 seminar talks and submit 2-page long feedback on the talks.

Learning Outcomes:

After completing the modules, students are expected to
1) widen their view on climate change science and impacts;
2) pick up the habit to notice and think critically on any climare related news;
3) be able to present their ideas effectively in a short time frame;
4) develop interest in climate change ultimately.
